Visão bioética de alguns aspectos da morte e do morrer

Abstract

There are two way of facing death: refusing it or becoming it part of life. When there is the refusal, people can move away as much as possible from it or assume that it happens only with others. However, when the death is accepted, it turns part of its existence, being considered implacable. The aim of this study was to discuss the bioethical aspects addressed when speaking about human cadavers. A narrative descriptive literature review was realized, in the databases of Pubmed and Pubmed Central, with search for articles with no date limit and combined keywords, with only original or review articles were included. A total of 35 articles were found, four about paternity/maternity after death (11%), seven about the death process (20%), three about art exhibition with cadavers (9%), 16 about use of cadavers in education and research (46%) and five about donation of organs and tissues (14%). The most researched and most emphasized bioethical reference in the texts found was autonomy, being present in all articles. Other references cited were those of beneficence, confidentiality, dignity, justice, non-maleficence, privacy, wisdom, serenity and solidarity, but with less emphasis.
