Tradução e adaptação transcultural do instrumento time e do ciclo de cuidados de feridas

Abstract

This study aimed to translate and culturally adapt the TIME and Cycle Wound Care instrument for use in Brazil. The methodological steps followed international guidelines for this type of study, consisting of the following steps - translation tool for English language, obtaining the consensus of the translated versions, reviewed by the expert group, back-translation and the final product was sent to the mentor of the original scale for comparison. Results: such stages allowed the scope of the conceptual similarities of items, semantic, idiomatic and operational. It was concluded that the TIME and Cycle Wound Care instrument are translated and culturally adapted for use in Brazil and translated and adapted the instrument requires an evaluation of their qualities, such as construct validity and reliability of the instrument.
