Uma reflexão sobre corporeidade e sua relação com a bioética

Abstract

In confronting the crisis of attitude towards life crisis is set to advance technoscientific and habits related to social behavior, there is a central icon that it converges on all these issues: the man's body, which reduced the object loses its value moral and receives market value, reduced form, seeks to "frame" within existing aesthetic standards; reduced organ or part, receive specialized treatment that does not see or understand the whole. What are the values involved in the questions: "what I want with my body? What influences me? How is the relationship I establish with my body? I am or have a body? ". In search of answers to these questions, this study will contextualize the question "body", placing the body in the universe of culture, especially modern and contemporary. This study aimed, in light of the bioethical and philosophical references, in line with the practical issues and emerging career of the author and with the support of the theoretical framework of psychodrama, reflect on the role of embodiment, searching for the meanings of representations that the body occupies in contemporary society, providing subsidies for bioethical reflection. It was established as a way of investigation, the bibliography review of the theorical methodological perspective of philosophy and bioethics. It is concluded that to have freedom and autonomy in decisions of what to do with the body, it is necessary to be conscious of the prevailing values and ethical and social aspects related to these issues of embodiment. Immersed in a permanent state of vulnerability and quest for autonomy, the existence of man, understood as a continuous movement of transcendence relies on consultation and the bioethical debate, so that the choices and decisions about what and how, may favor the man in its entirety.
